Appointments

 If you need an appointment with a gp please telephone the surgery on 02890641506 to book a telephone consultation with a gp who will then decide if you need to be seen in person at the surgery.

To make an appointment with a GP or nurse please telephone the surgery on 028 90 641506, or call in person to the practice reception.

Routine Appointments - For non-emergency appointments please call reception and make a routine appointment to see the doctor of your choice.  At times the wait for a specified doctor may be longer than others.

On-The-Day Appointments - We have a small number of on-the-day appointments each morning which should only be requested for an urgent problem.  If you are unable to get an on-the-day appointment for an urgent problem you can request a telephone call from a doctor to discuss your problem initially.  Please ensure that you leave an up to date contact number.

Cancellation -  please remember to cancel your appointment if no longer required.  Even at short notice we can usually give it to someone else who may need it.

Mobile Phones - please ensure your mobile phone is switched off during the consultation to avoid any unnecessary interruptions.

Appointments are for 10 minutes only - if you require a longer appointment please let the receptionist know and we will try and accommodate your request.  Sometimes some patients problems can unexpectedly take longer than usual and may cause a delay.  Please be patient with us if this happens.  If you require an interpreter please also request a longer appointment.

Private Medical Examinations - If you require an appointment for a private medical examination e.g. HGV licence or a Taxi licence please let the receptionist know so that a longer appointment can be arranged.  For private medical examinations (i.e. non-NHS), a fee will be payable.
