SEASONAL FLU VACCINE

Patients over 65 years of age and those patients in a high risk category are now invited to telephone the surgery for the annual flu vaccine. Please contact reception at your earliest convenience and staff will be happy to arrange this for you and will give you instructions on this years procedures regarding this. (Please also be aware that this year the flu clinic will be an outdoor event).

Important Notice - Changes to the way we work

We are minimising access to the surgery due to Coronavirus. All patients will be triaged by telephone. Prescriptions may no longer be collected form the surgery, they will be sent to your nominated pharmacy.

Coronavirus (COVID19)

The NHS & Public Health Organisation are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. Then NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as well.

Northern Ireland has full access to the NHS 111 helpline service for coronavirus. Callers should Press 1 when advised. This service is provided in Northern Ireland solely for Coronavirus guidance & NOT for other conditions.

Symptoms of Coronavirus are:

  • Cough
  • High Temperature
  • Shortness of breath

These Symptoms are similar to other illnesses & DOES NOT necessarily mean you have the illness.

If you have recently been to a country or are with High Risk of Coronavirus or have been in close contact with someone with Coronavirus, DO NOT GO TO A GP SURGERY, PHARMACY OR HOSPITAL.
