Coronavirus (COVID19)
The NHS & Public Health Organisation are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as well.
Northern Ireland has full access to the NHS 111 helpline service for coronavirus. Callers should Press 1 when advised. This service is provided in Northern Ireland solely for Coronavirus guidance & NOT for other conditions.
Symptoms of Coronavirus are:
- Cough
- High Temperature
- Shortness of breath
These Symptoms are similar to other illnesses & DOES NOT necessarily mean you have the illness.
If you have recently been to a country or are with High Risk of Coronavirus or have been in close contact with someone with Coronavirus, DO NOT GO TO A GP SURGERY, PHARMACY OR HOSPITAL.
